THE OLD LIBRARY

RESTAURANT

 "A National Historic Site"

The historic building housing the Old Library Restaurant is one of Olean's most beautiful and treasured landmarks.

The Olean Public Library was built in 1910 with funds donated by Andrew Carnegie.  The Library remained in the building until 1974, when it moved to more spacious quarters.

In 1983, the Marra family purchased the building and refurbished it to become a restaurant.  There were no structural changes made, carefully preserving the features that exemplify the classic architecture.
