YEE-HAH! Put on your chaps and polish up your spurs for the “ One Day Only” annual event. Your bus group will be corralled at Olean’s Gargoyle park. There’ll be acres of fun, food and entertainment.

YOU BE THE CHEF *NEW*
Do you sit at home watching those cooking shows with Julia Childs and Emeril Lagasse and say I wish I could do that? …
Well, at the Old Library restaurant now you can. Start your lesson with master instructions from our very own chef, Joe Marra and a representative from Cutco Cutlery. You will learn garnishing tricks, timesaving meat preparation and entertaining surprises all made with the tools that Cutco makes.
Your group will then be given hands on time to practice your new found talents and ask any questions you may have. After that, your group will enjoy a delicious meal including many items you helped create.
After your cooking class, its off to Cutco Cutlery’s Visitor Center. Here you will tour their facility and learn about the company history, product innovations and be able to browse their retail shop.
It’s a tour that will make you feel like a chef for a day!!


HISTORICAL TREASURES IN THE OLD LIBRARY ATTIC *NEW*
Its time to clean out your own attic and carry your trash or treasure to the Old Library Restaurant for a unique “antique adventure”.
Upon arrival with your treasures in tact, you will be greeted by our knowledgeable staff who will fill your mind with the history of the Old Library Restaurant. Meander through the restaurant enjoying the antiques and architectural beauty of yesteryears!
Your group will then be welcomed by our local antique dealer who will appraise your “antique”. This can either be a small piece you can carry or a clear photo of a larger item. You will then discover how old that precious family heirloom is and what it is worth (Nothing?!? Or $$$$).
Your group will then be treated to a “priceless” meal before returning home with your valuables to cherish!! Your group will also be given ample time to visit the quaint shops that line Dowtown Olean or you make take a self guided tour of the historic buildings of North Union Street (Information maps provided)


MARDI GRAS- New Orleans Style!! *NEW*
Welcome to the OLR as we celebrate Mardi Gras with our own version of New Orlean’s largest celebration.
Start the party with unlimited “Mardi Gras Madness Punch”. For those of you less adventurous, coffee, tea and Carnival Root Beer will be served. Hurricanes and other alcoholic drinks will be available for additional charges.
The parade starts as you depart the bus and our staff greets you with the famous beads, masks and doubloons. The fun starts as our Mardi Gras Entertainment takes the floor!!

While being entertained your meal starts with:

Seafood gumbo and “Festival” salad served tableside.

To make you feel like your in the French Quarter, a full Mardi Gras Jazz buffet will be set up for your group to feast at. A variety of seafood, Cajun (light) and traditional foods will be provided to satisfy all tastebuds.

For dessert, banana’s foster cheesecake, and what Mardi Gras Party would not be complete without KING CAKES!

Who’s got the baby? Since Mardi Gras is the celebration before Easter, keep us in mind for Dingus Day celebration the Monday following Easter. Ask events coordinator for details.

Well, The Old Library Restaurant will go one step better, we are prepared to set you loose in our own mini chocolate factory!

Enjoy a Fabulous Buffet or Sit-Meal but save room for dessert:

A full choclate dessert buffet of “7” fabulous desserts.

While enjoying your fabulous sweets view the most famous of all chocolate factories where Lucy & Ethel worked and the history of chocolate on our room surrounding monitors. Perfect anytime of year.

Great add on to this trip is a stop at the Lucille Ball & Desi Arnez Museum in Jamestown, NY – Lucy’s Birthplace. Mmm, mmm, mmm!

Everyone gather up your “Shamrocks” and put on the “Green”.
